Dioctyl adipate is a typical cold-resistant plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene copolymers, polystyrene, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, and synthetic rubber. It has high plasticizing efficiency, minimal discoloration upon heating, and can impart good low-temperature softness and light resistance to products. The products have a good hand feel and possess cold resistance, low-temperature softness, and light resistance.
