Sodium Lauryl Polyether Sulfate (SLES) is a high-performance anionic surfactant that can be prepared from coconut.
A light yellow viscous liquid that is easily soluble in water and has excellent cleaning, emulsifying, and foaming properties. It has good thickening properties and foaming ability, for example, adding 2%~5% sodium chloride can easily increase the viscosity of SLES system. [2] Commonly used in daily chemical industries such as liquid washing, meal washing, shampoo, and bath washing, as well as in industries such as textiles, papermaking, leather, machinery, and petroleum extraction. [3] SLES has a certain degree of irritation in cosmetics and is not suitable for long-term use on sensitive and dry skin.
