Product Description:
Mixed xylene is a colorless, transparent liquid mixture composed of o-xylene, m-xylene, p-xylene, and ethylbenzene.
It has a relative density of approximately 0.86 and a flash point below 28°C. It is soluble in ethanol and ether but insoluble in water, with a boiling range of 136.5-145°C.
Product Grade Classification:
Based on the aromatic content, xylene can be divided into three categories: solvent grade, isomer grade, and crude xylene, each used in different industrial fields.
Product Uses:
This mixture is primarily used as a solvent for paints and coatings, an additive for aviation gasoline, and a solvent for pesticide emulsions.
